PROJECT: #1 USO Care Package Assembly: YOU will have the opportunity to provide young men and women in the middle of Basic Training with a tangible piece of gratitude and make a positive impact as they journey to see friends and family after weeks of training.

PROJECT #2: Pickens County Home Fire Campaign. On Serve Pickens Day, Join the American Red Cross and Big Canoe Serves to help install free smoke alarms and share lifesaving home fire safety information with local families.

PROJECT #3: Burnt Mountain Center Volunteers will work in teams to transform existing storage areas into safer, cleaner, and more functional spaces for the Center's programs.

Burnt Mountain Center provides quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, including a supportive environment for newly graduated high school seniors.

PROJECT #4:  Museum of Art & History: Completing a large exterior project at the historic jail, volunteers will repair trim, paint, pressure wash and complete landscaping.

PROJECT #5: Assemble food packages and write friendly messages to be distributed to some of the 14 Little Free Food Pantries throughout Pickens County.

Pickens County Family Connection brings together schools, nonprofits, government agencies, faith communities, businesses, and civic leaders to strengthen children, families, and communities.
